Proposing a New Model of Educaiton
For Our Beloved Children and Nation

To resolve the education crisis once and for all.

We posit that, by adopting a better educational model,
We can build a strong, adaptive, and self-sustaining educational ecosystem
To serve our children, families, economy, and nation better. We can:

  1. Provide affordable, enjoyable, meaningful and purposeful education across the board—from affluent urban neighbourhoods to tribal areas.
  2. Narrow the gap, real or perceived, in the quality of education among government schools, expensive corporate schools, and local private schools.
  3. Bring out the unique potential and fortify the unique talent of each child.
  4. Prepare children for changing times.
  5. Lay the foundations for a lifelong learning continuum.
  6. Help children discover themselves: their learning styles, interaction styles, strengths, weaknesses, and more.
  7. Help children discover the society around them—its people, science, technology, economy, opportunities, and challenges.
  8. Reduce stress across the board for students, teachers, parents, and even politicians.
  9. Make learning enjoyable for children and teaching enjoyable for teachers.
  10. Relieve the system of political, ideological, and other extraneous interference.
  11. Increase the role and participation of parents in children’s education as well as in school activities.
  12. Reduce waste in the education system so that more can be accomplished without increasing the budget.
  13. Reconnect children with family, cultural and social activities, happenings and events.
  14. Provide children with the support that many families are unable to provide.
  15. Steer the entire system from fake learning (rote memorization, cheating in exams and evaluations, fake certificates) to genuine learning.
  16. Create better pathways and connectivity between education and the economy—formal and informal, local and global.
  17. Create pathways for field innovation to flow into the system.
  18. Reduce commute time, transportation costs, and the carbon footprint of busing children back and forth between home and school.

NEP 2020 transforms about 10% to 20% of the education system as we know it.
Nutan Vidya Vidhan seeks to replace 100% of it with an entirely new model of education.
